APPEARANCE:
Julien is said to be quite handsome for a shadowhunter. He has brown hair, which is most of the time slicked back. When in a busy fight, it is said that his hair often covers half his face, and is quite out of place. His light blue eyes have some green spots in it, and he doesn't know what the exact colour of his eyes is, if he had to describe them in one word. He has a fine jawline, and quite high cheekbones. He has a muscular built from all his training, and stands at 180 cm.
What is most remarkable about Julien are his scars. Afther being captured for so long, he got quite a few of them. He doesn't cover them up, they remind him of his past and he carries that with him. He has a big one behind is right ear going to his neck, two in his neck, a large one on his midrif, a long one from his left hand to his under arm, and several smaller ones on his sides and legs. Some of the small ones are thanks to aging not very visible anymore, but the big ones are still very present.
Like all other Shadowhunters, he is covered in thin, silver scars from years of applying various magical temporary runes as well as permanent runes that look like tattoos.
His gear consists of black clothes, with some leather jackets included. He has a hood on a few jackets, which covers his face when hunting. His casual clothing is still mostly black, because wants to be ready to fight whenever possible. He almost always carries his bow and arrows with him.

HISTORY:
- 0 years. Born in Alicante.
- 11 years. Became a Shadowhunter.
- 15 years. Met Jace, Alec and Isabelle when he moved to New York, without his parents, and became friends with them.
- 16 years. Got captured by the Circle when in a fight with demons. He soon came to realise who they were, and of course scolded at them for being traitors.
Julien was visited by his parents, who turned out to be members of the Circle. His parents told him to choose: wether to be imprisoned or join them in their fight against the Clave. Julien, outspoken as always, told them he would rather die than join them. He had made his choice long before, and would not back down from it.
- 17 years. Had been prisoner for a year and Julien had grown weak, but was given special food packages by his mother, who couldn't see her child suffer this much. Julien's father however, wasn't as merciful and made his boy learn the hard way not to mess with him.
- 18 years. Had been held a prisoner by the Circle for two years. He tried to escape multiple times, but was outnumbered everytime. Suffored from several wounds, which can still be seen on his body today as scars. Julien was sometimes tortured by the more cruel members of the Circle.
- 18.5 years. Made a new escape plan, which involved him "joining" the Circle, to then eventually escape. He fooled his mother into thinking he wanted to join them, and eventually even his father.
- 20 years. Had grown strong again, trained every day and learned as much about the Circle as possible. The only thing bothering him was that his friends hadn't come to save him, but he still believed in them. There had to be an explanation.
- 21 years. Had to perform a ritual soon to become a full member of the Circle. Julien however, had secretely reached out to Idris for help, and gave them all the information they needed to help him escape and stop this branch of the Circle.
- 22 years. The day of the ritual arrived, and so did the members of the Clave. Everything went according to plan, and the Clave won. However, his mother was killed by his father. She jumped in front of Julien when his father faced Julien, intending to kill his son. His mother died, and his father was captured and sentenced to death by the Clave for high-treason.
Julien got the scar on his midrif, and the one behind his ear from this fight.
- 22 years. Julien went home again, to the New York Institute, to rejoin his friends. Once he got there however, there was a fight going on with a few demons. Julien joined in, and once it was over, explained everything to his friends. They explained that they were sent a message five years ago, that he was dead. This message was sent by Julien's father. Julien still hardly talks about his family and his past.
- 25 years. Still lives in the New York Institute.
